One of the things I do while scouting out rock hounding locations is haul out any trash I find. Here are two lawnmowers, a tire, a TV, and the motor and frame from a motorcycle I hauled off BLM land on Scodie Road, just outside the west boundary of the Kiavah Wilderness. What's funny to me is that you can haul any of this stuff a few miles away to the dump, for free. I can only imagine the fine if a BLM Ranger found someone dumping it!
