Bakersfield Rock Rendezvous

This past weekend was the 9th Annual Bakersfield Rock Rendezvous, and what an amazing show it was.  Most of us are used to rock shows with 10 to 15 vendors.  In the big city you'll find shows like Culver City has maybe 30 vendors.  Bakersfield had over 60 vendors, with material literally from all over the world!
I saw mounds of AAA quality lapis, next to bins filled with tourmaline; hundred pound boulders of petrified dino bone; quartz crystals from tiny to giant clusters from Arkansas; Tiffany Stone, Kunzite, books and guides, equipment, and so much more.  Located at a new venue, the Shriner's Fairgrounds, there was plenty of food and nearby bathrooms, and so many raffle items to be won it took an hour to read off the winners!
This is probably the best run show I've seen, and the whole thing was done by only 5 people!
